Cars were made for long cruises while sitting on you @$$. The seats had to be reasonably comfortable. WebIt's similar to a two part epoxy but it creates a much stronger plastic. It's a really handy thing to have around in general. I've used it to repair a lot of different things. It will absolutely fix your chair.
