WebJun 26, 2014 · Use the q command to view the built object and when you have it selected, press x to remove the construction. The dwarves will deconstruct it and put it back in the stockpile. Then just rebuild it in the correct location. WebUnpause the game, and wait for a dwarf with the Furniture Hauling labor to pull it loose. Choose to b uild the furniture in its new location. You may have to wait for it to be hauled away and into a stockpile before you can do so. Wait for a Furniture Hauling dwarf to install the furniture once again.

Yep, when it comes to placing furniture, it's generally due to stone that is already marked for dumping ('d' 'b' 'd') but is not yet dumped. Or the stone is currently been reserved by an active task that another dwarf is working on.
