Fixed my issue by installing the correct driver. I had apparently used a driver for the standard 400 instead of the 450 turbo, which apparently caused the issue with blank labels. Reinstalled the printer (it's connected via an ioGear server), opened and closed the software, and voila!

I'm just left with a 0.3 inch margin which is too much for a 1.2" label. I'll try to find a DYMO SDK expert and see if they can write me a small exe that sets the margins to zero.
